About me
Fourth generation pioneer woman cantor, Deborah founded the Women Cantors' Network in l982. She has recorded 10 CDs and published two books: Katchko- Three Generations of Cantorial Art, and Jewish Huck Embroidery. A lifelong student of Elie Wiesel z'l, Deborah has shared his music and messages widely through singing, writing and teaching. She serves Congregation Shir Shalom in Ridgefield, CT. Huck Embroidery is a passion as well as playing cello with a community orchestra.
